Our adventure begins on Lanzarote, the easternmost of the Canary Islands.
We start in the picturesque bay of La Graciosa, where we enjoy a refreshing swim in the turquoise water. We dedicate two days to exploring the island's fascinating volcanic landscape. We visit the stunning Timanfaya National Park and relax on the golden beaches of Papagayo.
We continue to Fuerteventura, where we dock in Corralejo. Here we have time to explore the impressive dunes - one of the island's main attractions. This unique desert landscape stretches over 2,500 hectares and was declared a nature park in 1982.
We enjoy the play of colors between the turquoise sea and the light sand of the dunes, which consists mainly of shell limestone.
The endless beaches invite you to swim in the crystal clear waters, and for the more adventurous there is the opportunity to go windsurfing or kitesurfing.
A trip inland reveals the raw, original beauty of Fuerteventura. We are open to your wishes and have enough time to visit other enchanting places in the Canary Islands.
Our last leg takes us to Gran Canaria. On the way we treat ourselves to a swim stop in a secluded bay before we enter Las Palmas. Here we end our trip, explore the lively old town and enjoy the diverse Canarian cuisine.
This trip offers a perfect mix of relaxed island hopping and exploring unique natural landscapes. The mild October temperatures and the constant northeast trade winds ensure ideal sailing conditions, while the islands with their fascinating nature and culture invite you to explore and marvel.
Wind & Climate:
In October, sailing conditions are ideal with the stable northeast trade winds (3-5 Beaufort). During the day, you can expect pleasant temperatures of 20-25°C, while at night it cools down to 15-20°C. The water is inviting for swimming at 20-23°C. The sea is usually moderate with a long Atlantic swell of 1-2 meters.
Yacht:
It is a modern Hanse 575 with 4 double cabins and a skipper's cabin. Each cabin has its own bathroom with electric toilet. Wi-Fi via Starlink, multi media, air conditioning, generator 220 V / 7 KW, (230 V in all cabins) washing machine, bread maker and Nespresso machine. It has large solar panels, radar, AIS, a watermaker, hydraulic bathing platform and a dinghy with electric outboard motor. An over-equipment for safety and navigation and much more, everything you need to be self-sufficient without having to call at a supply port. A yacht that meets the highest standards for safety, design and comfort.
The sailing characteristics are also outstanding! The Hanse was designed by Vovo ocean racers and is the fastest yacht in its class. Sailing pleasure is guaranteed!
