Boarding from 16.00 at the port of Fort de France. Accommodation on board taken from the cabins, various explanations and first dinner on the ground.
Upon request, the galley can be prepared on board (agreeing first on the various needs and personal tastes).

    1 DAY: 3 mn + 3 mn 1 hour
Having completed the customs formalities for exit and completed the galley in the late morning we leave Fort de France and after a short sail we reach the opposite side of the bay where we will drop anchor at Anse Mitan in front of the Creole village for a nice swim and lunch on board.
In the afternoon we will move a few miles towards the bay of Anse D'arlet populated by sea turtles, to spend the night.

    DAY 2: 15mn 2/2.5 hours
After breakfast and a nice swim and for those who want a bit of snorkel, around mid-morning we leave the bay for another sail, this time towards the North to arrive at the bay of ST Pierre (ancient capital of Martinca before the eruption of the volcano).
We will arrive after about 2/2.5 hours and after a nice bath in the late afternoon it will be possible to go down to visit the city and perhaps have an aperitif.

    DAY 3: 35 mn 6/7 hours
We will leave the bay of ST pierre early in the morning, a beautiful crossing of the channel that separates the island of Martinique from that of Dominica awaits us, which we will reach in the very early afternoon.
Once in Roseau after having refreshed ourselves with lunch on the boat, you can choose from several possible excursions on land. We will spend the night here.

    4 DAY: 18 mn 3 hours
Only a motorized ascent along the Dominica coast awaits us to reach Porthsmout bay about 18 mn away and here we will drop anchor, have lunch and here too you can opt for a nice excursion with local boats going up the Indian river. Here we spend the night.

    DAY 5: 25mn 4/5 hours
We raise anchor to head towards Marie Galante, a very very close wind awaits us to try to get as close as possible to the island we will anchor in the Bay of St Louis and after the usual lunch and the usual swim we can go ashore.

    DAY 6: 15 mn 3 hours
Morning dedicated to swimming and visiting the island, lunch on board and in the early afternoon we leave Marie Galante to go to the Saint archipelago which we will reach in the evening.

    8 DAY: 20 mn ( 3/4 hours )
We will move early in the morning for a beautiful sailing that will take us along the coast of Guadalupe until we reach the bay of Boulliante, where a source of boiling thermal water flows into the sea and where we will make a quick stop for a swim before moving on for a few minutes. to go to the bay of Malendure in front of the marine reserve.
Arrived in the bay after the usual lunch we will be ready to go with the dinghy (it is also possible to rent canoes) to the marine reserve to snorkel.
We will spend the night here.

    DAY 9: 20 mn ( 3/4 hours )
We will leave again but this time with a SOUTH route for the approach to Point a Pitre and due to wind issues we will have to return to the saint islands and redo a quick stop which is always pleasant in any case.
Arrived at le saint we will spend the night here.

    DAY 10: 20 NM ( 3//4 hours )
Early in the morning we leave the islands to start a nice very close upwind to get to ilet de Gosier a beautiful typical Caribbean island 2 steps away from Guadalupe and just 3/4 minutes from the capital Point a Pitre we will arrive as usual around lunch and after anchoring and having lunch, all that is missing is a nice swim and a nice visit to the land of the beautiful island.
We will spend the night here.

    DAY 11: 4NM 1 hour
After a last swim we are ready to head towards the port of Bas di Fort a Point a Pitre to enter the marina for the disembarkation which will take place around lunchtime.

Hello, my name is Christian and I am a lover of the sea and a boat enthusiast. I have been doing this job for about 10 years after deciding to turn my passion into a full-time job. I have traveled over 80,000 nm, completed 12 Atlantic crossings (including 2 solo) as well as several boat transfers.

Boat details

Our Sun Odyssey 51 of 15.50 meters, built in the Jeanneau Shipyards. The model of this sailboat is specially made to provide maximum comfort during long stays on board, thanks to the large spaces both indoors and outdoors, without however compromising on performance, giving the maximum during long voyages (such as oceanic ones. Full Moon is therefore a modern, comfortable and fast sailing boat, indicated on the market as an above average model in terms of comfort and safety among standard sailboats.

The boat is equipped with every comfort, tools and equipment to make your stay welcoming and make you live the experience of living in contact with marine wonders in a unique way.
When you are "tired and bored" of swimming in the blue-green Caribbean waters, you can rest or read lulled by the waves, or equip yourself with a fishing rod, steer or photograph, until you enjoy cooking in the dinette.

Here's what you'll find on board:

FOUR DOUBLE CABINS
Ours is a particularly habitable sailboat: it has four guest cabins, each with private bathroom, and one reserved for the crew.
All cabins have double beds, stowage lockers and private shower rooms.

DINETTE AND INTERIORS
The dinette is developed on both sides of the interior of the boat, thanks to the optimal organization of the spaces which, once down the stairs, allow central access completely free from clutter.
Next to the stairs, there is the chart table, complete with the instruments and accessories for navigation: this is the & quot; control cabin & quot ;, to always be left free for the Captain and the area & quot; off limits & quot; for guests on board.
Immediately afterwards, again on the right side, a comfortable U-shaped corner develops, excellent for allowing access and use of the compartment even during navigation. The kitchen area is complete with stove and oven, two cockpit fridges, microwave oven and doors with all the necessary for cooking and setting, from breakfast to lunch, to aperitif and dinner: dishes, pots and casseroles, glasses, cups, containers and much more.
The left side of the dinette comfortably accommodates ten people seated and doors for storing food.

THE EXTERIORS
The cockpit is large and designed in such a way as to make the moments spent reading, resting and looking at the sea or having lunch and dinner in the harbor, losing one's gaze in the blue of the sky and the sea, to the fullest. The comfortable canopy and awning protect the stop in the cockpit even in the hottest hours.
The spaces on deck are wide, comfortable and safe for movement. The stern beach is large and equipped with a retractable floor ladder, to go down comfortably into the sea and enjoy the space coming up from the sea, thanks to the comfortable shower equipped with fresh water.
The large space in the bow, entirely covered in teak, is large and comfortable, allowing you to enjoy relaxation and sunbathing areas for both groups and "moments alone".
The two rudder wheels, placed laterally in the stern, allow easy movements both for guests residing in the cockpit and for the Captain who must move from the stern to the cockpit to control the navigation, combining the use of the winches that govern the sails so much from upwind than from downwind.
In 2021 it underwent a deep refit to make it even safer and more comfortable.

Christian is a very experienced skipper in sailing. The Atlantic crossing has been a wonderful adventure, not without its moments of tension typical of these long journeys, but in my opinion, well managed by Christian. In the end, the balance is very positive with many good moments.
