Day 8: Arrival at the ship in Porto Pozzo at 11:00 a.m. Accommodation in the cabins and safety briefing on board. We set sail at 12:00 and begin sailing towards Isola Maddalena, the main island of the archipelago that bears its name. La Maddalena town is the only urban centre on the island and the heart of the archipelago. The town has a picturesque charm, with cobbled streets, lively squares, shops, bars and restaurants offering sardine specialities and fresh seafood. It is ideal for snorkelling and hiking. We will sleep here.
Day 9: We will go to Isola Caprera, famous for its unspoiled landscape, with granite rock formations and Mediterranean vegetation. Giuseppe Garibaldi, one of Italy’s national heroes, lived here during his last years. His house on the island is now a museum where you can learn about his life and legacy. The house is surrounded by stunning natural surroundings and the island was his refuge until his death. We will then visit Isola Santo Stefano which is known for its military fortress, built in the 18th century. For a long time, it was used by the Italian army as a military base and the fortress was key to the defence of the archipelago. In the afternoon, we will go to Cala Cannigione, a place with beautiful beaches, where crystal-clear waters and soft white sand stand out.
Day 10: We will go to Cala Spalmatore which is one of the many hidden coves that make Caprera an ideal destination for those looking to escape mass tourism, with turquoise blue waters that invite you to swim and relax. The seabed is shallow near the shore. In the afternoon, we will go to Golfo Pevero which is a bay surrounded by beautiful beaches, crystal-clear waters and a great natural wealth, being a popular destination for luxury yachts and celebrities. The gulf is known for its scenic beauty and sophisticated atmosphere. Later, we will go to Cugnana Verde, a quiet residential area that offers a combination of nature and traditional Sardinian architecture.
Day 11: In the morning, we will go to Olbia. Despite being a relatively small city, it offers a combination of history, culture and modernity, with beautiful landscapes, beaches and a vibrant local life. Olbia has a rich history dating back to ancient times, founded by the Phoenicians and later colonized by the Romans. Over the centuries, the city has been an important commercial and strategic center. One of the main historical points of the city is the Archaeological Museum of Olbia, which houses a collection of Roman, Phoenician and Carthaginian artifacts, as well as remains of the ancient city. The Church of San Simplicio is an outstanding example of medieval architecture in Sardinia. In the afternoon, we will go to Cala Brandinchi, often referred to as "Little Tahiti" due to its crystal-clear waters, white sand and stunning natural surroundings. Here we will have dinner and sleep.
Day 12: We will get up and go to Spiaggia La Cinta which is a beach that stretches for about 3 kilometers. Its fine white sand is ideal for walking, sunbathing and enjoying the sea breeze. The beach is bordered by a landscape of natural dunes covered with Mediterranean vegetation and a system of lagoons that attract a wide variety of birds, adding a special touch to the environment. Then we will go to Porto Ottiolu which has a beautiful beach with golden sand and crystal clear waters, ideal for swimming and sunbathing. In the afternoon, we will go to Spiaggia di Budoni which is surrounded by a beautiful natural landscape of sand dunes, Mediterranean vegetation and nearby hills, creating a picturesque and peaceful environment. Then, we will go to Spiaggia delle Dune, a landmark for the impressive sand dunes that surround it, creating a unique and picturesque landscape. Here we will spend the night.
Day 13: Early in the morning, we will head to Cala Fuili which is nestled between high limestone cliffs, giving it a unique and spectacular atmosphere. The cove is surrounded by dense vegetation typical of the island, with pine trees and bushes that add a touch of freshness and nature to the landscape. In the afternoon, we will go to Cala Luna which is surrounded by high cliffs that rise above the beach, creating a dramatic and picturesque landscape. These cliffs are made up of limestone rocks and provide a stunning background for the golden sand and clear waters. The beach is dotted with several natural caves that have formed in the cliffs; which adds a unique touch to the place. Some of these caves can be explored, making the visit to the beach even more interesting. Then, we will visit Cala Esuili, a small but impressive cove on the east coast. Later, we will move to Cala Goloritzé, within the Gulf of Orosei Natural Park, known for its unique beauty. Cala Goloritzé is a true natural paradise, famous for its crystal-clear waters, white sand and impressive rock formations, including a stone arch that has become one of the symbols of the beach. Finally, we will go to Santa Maria Navarrese Spiaggia, where we will drop anchor, have dinner and spend the night.
Day 14: Early in the morning, we will head to Porto Santa Maria Navarrese, a picturesque and quiet beach on the east coast of Sardinia, known for its golden sand, crystal-clear waters and stunning natural surroundings. With a relaxed and accessible atmosphere, it is perfect for swimming, snorkelling and enjoying a sunny day in a serene setting. The proximity to the small village of Santa Maria Navarrese and its closeness to other famous beaches, makes this cove an excellent starting point to explore the natural beauty of the Gulf of Orosei and the nearby regions. Here we will dock at 12:00 and conclude the 2nd stage of this trip.
