We will start the journey from Martinique, French West Indies, specifically in the bay of Le Marin. You will cross the Caribbean Sea to the San Blas archipelago, in the rich lands of Panama, all aboard our Lagoon 42 catamaran, which offers all the amenities for such a trip.

We will sail through the Caribbean in favor of the southerly winds and we will cross the waters of the islands of Saint Lucia and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (an archipelago of wonderful crystal clear waters), which is a traditional place of passage for sailors on Caribbean voyages through the Antilles. From there, and if the weather is favorable, we will head to the crossing of the Caribbean Sea heading south-west, to pause and enjoy a good swim in the Los Roques archipelago, a natural park with crystal clear waters, coral reefs and white sand beaches with magical corners such as Cayo Piratas, an amazing place for snorkeling and diving. From there we will continue to the Dutch island of Aruba, where we will make a technical stop for refueling and supplies. To finish our adventure, we will reach the San Blas archipelago in Panama, where we will end our journey through the Caribbean.

This will be our second return to the magical islands of the San Blas archipelago. We'll enjoy magnificent fishing, whale watching, and blowing winds on this epic adventure.

Before this journey, we will arrive in Martinique after crossing the Atlantic from the Canary Islands. All the info and reservations about the Atlantic crossing at:

Departure and arrival days may vary due to organizational issues!

The daily programme during the crossing includes mandatory 4-hour watches. These will involve being in charge of the boat, constantly observing strange elements or changes in the weather, strength or direction of the wind. We will undergo prior training so that we all know how to act in the event of possible changes, in addition to the need to notify the captain in order to make decisions regarding any changes or inclement weather detected. Generally, the watches will be during the day, as the captain will work the night hours, as these require greater concentration. It will also be necessary to collaborate in the kitchen: in turns, each person will have to cook and clean alternately.

During rest hours, we will have several options to do activities on board:
    - Fishing. Equipment is included, but not bait, which each person can bring (we recommend plastic squids of different sizes or colours, as they tend to be more successful in catching them). We also have bait on board, available for purchase.
    - Reading.
    - Record videos for your social networks or simply as a souvenir.
    - Watch movies or series on our Samsung Smart TV. We recommend bringing a hard drive to connect to the TV. Smartphones can also be connected (Androids work best, with iPhones it is sometimes complicated).
    - Listen to music. We have a Hi-Fi system to which we can connect our mobile phones via Bluetooth.
    - Physical exercise.
    - Yoga.

Other information
All crew members are welcome, even if they do not know the language spoken on board (spanish)

The boat has the necessary communication equipment for an Atlantic crossing like this: satellite phone, NAVTEX, AIS, etc.

We also have a Starlink Satellite antenna, which allows you to be connected at all times via WhatsApp, email, social networks, etc. (even Netflix). All crew members who wish to use it will have to pay for the GB used during the trip at the end of it. Beforehand, a deposit must be left for the collection of this service.

The dates given are indicative, as we depend on the weather for navigation. In addition, it must be taken into account that prior to this crossing we will have made the Atlantic crossing, which sometimes suffers from date variations.

The crossing will take place from Le Marin Bay in Martinique to San Blas in Panama. We can arrange transfer from San Blas to Panama airport or Panama City, with two options:
- By land in a 4x4. This starts at the Carti post and costs approximately $75 per person.
- By air in a small plane. This is done from the island Corazón de Jesús and the fare depends on the type of plane chosen.
In both cases, the rates are set by the agency that organizes these tours.

The advertised price is for a shared cabin with private bathroom. A 10% discount will be applied per person for booking a full cabin.

The ship will be supplied before setting sail and the cost of food and fuel will be shared equally.

The published price is up to San Blas.

1 review At Sailwiz since 2024
Adventurer and sailor with more than 30 years of experience at sea, I started as the owner of an 80-foot ketch-type schooner made entirely of wood, and after many years with classic boats, I changed rigs to sailboats and catamarans. I am passionate about sailing, fishing and diving.

More than half of the trip was by motor. He has two skippers for the trip, we were two travelers for expenses. Travel expenses to be added, as stated in the publication, fuel costs; it was 500 euros each; cleaning 150 each; STARLINK, 150 each; and food 600 each. The fantastic patterns. Very comfortable
