Atlantic Crossing from Panama to Cádiz

We will begin the journey from Linton Bay Marina, in the city of Colon, Panama. The first voyage will take place across the Caribbean Sea to Cuba and the Bahamas. We made the Atlantic crossing from Bahamas to the rich lands of Cádiz, on our Lagoon 42 and Lagoon 43 catamarans, which offer all the amenities for such a trip.

We will depart from the Caribbean and sail across the Atlantic to the Azores Islands, an archipelago of Portuguese islands, which is a traditional place of passage for sailors on transatlantic voyages. From there, and if the weather is favorable, we will head to the crossing of the strait, to pause and enjoy some good tapas in the lands of Cadiz, to finish our adventure, we will head to the Pitiusas.

This will be our 10th crossing of the Atlantic. We will enjoy magnificent fishing, whale watching, and cross winds, on this adventure to enjoy an epic journey.

You can book the cruise with the options of the ports and places of call indicated in the description of the trip, so there are 4 options to join the adventure, from Panama (San Blas archipelago) or Linton Bay Marina, for the more adventurous and those with more time, from Bahamas/Jamaica/Caicos, from Azores or from Algeciras in Cadiz, our final destination is the magical waters of the Pitiuses, specifically Ibiza.

In the daily program during the cruise, mandatory 4-hour guards will be carried out, consisting of being in command of the ship and observing strange elements or changes in weather, force or direction of the wind, prior training will be carried out to know how to act in the face of any change or the need to notify the captain to make decisions about the changes or inclemencies that are found, usually during the day, since the captain will work the night hours where greater concentration is required. We will also collaborate in the kitchen and in turns each one will have to cook and clean the kitchen alternately.

During the rest hours we will dedicate ourselves to fishing, fishing equipment is included, but not baits, everyone can bring their baits (the most suitable and most successful catches are usually plastic squid, with different sizes or colors) we have baits on board, which you can buy for your use.

Reading, recording videos for your social networks or simply as a souvenir are other good activities. We have Samsung Smart TVs, to be able to watch movies or series, we recommend bringing a hard drive to connect to the TV, you can also connect smart phones, Android phones work better, with iPhone it's sometimes difficult to communicate with the TV, we have HiFi Bluetooth equipment, where you can connect your mobile phones to enjoy good music while traveling. Exercise or yoga are also good onboard activities.

All crew members are welcome, even if they do not know the language spoken on board (spanish)

The ship has the necessary communication equipment for the Transatlantic crossing, satellite telephone, NAVTEX, AIS, etc.

We also have a Starlink Satellite antenna, all crew members who want to use this antenna that allows them to be connected at all times via WhatsApp, email and social networks and even NETFLIX will have to pay for the GB used during the trip, at the end of the trip, leaving a deposit deposit for the collection of this service. At the end of the trip, the invoices issued by Starlink will be presented to the customers, who will pay or will be deducted from the deposit only and exclusively the amount of these bills.

The dates shown are indicative, since we depend on the weather for navigation and the supply of the boat for the crossing. We plan to leave Liston Bay Marina.

The boat will start the cruise from the San Blas Archipelago, for those who want to join the cruise at this point, they are also invited, without being charged anything extra, only that they will have to arrive by their own means from Panama City to San Blas, we can organize the pick up from the airport and the transfer to San Blas for an extra charge, charged by the agency that organizes these tours and which are carried out in 4x4 to the Carti post and from there they will be transferred to the catamaran in a boat taxi, the approximate price is 75$ per person.

From Panama to Cuba/Jamaica 5/7 days, from Cuba to Bahamas or Jamaica to Caicos 3/5 days and from Bahamas Azores or Caicos Azores 20/25 days, from Azores to Algeciras 7 days, from Algeciras to Ibiza 3 or 4 days.

The price of 4500€ is for a shared cabin with private bathroom, for couples who book a double cabin, 500€ will be discounted.

The ship will be supplied before it sails and the expenses of the food will be shared equally among the customers, the crew's food will be borne by the customers, as well as the fuel.

The published price is to Algeciras, depending on the crossing, you can stipulate an extra to Ibiza or finish the trip in Cadiz.

1. Lagoon 43 (Configuration with Triple Room and Crew “Rabbit”) This version takes full advantage of the new optimized volumes of the Lagoon 43 hull: Triple Room: In the port helmet, the aft cabin is configured with a double bed and an upper folding bunk bed (Pullman), turning it into a real and comfortable triple cabin for three guests.
