Adventure offered by Carlos y Aroa

Contact
This will be a trip that will combine sailing trips between islands and land excursions, where you can visit the interior of the islands and walk their trails discovering the natural landscapes and National Parks of the islands.

The starting point will be the south of the island of Tenerife and, from there, we will sail towards the island of La Gomera and the island of La Palma, where we will explore the interior of these wonderful islands, with surprising landscapes.

The crossings will be between 30 and 50 nautical miles, on islands located in the Atlantic Ocean. Voyages in which we will sail all day, learning about sailing, adapting to the conditions we encounter and sharing knowledge with other crew members.

The excursions are proposals that we make for the crew members who embark with us and there are options for all levels. The crew members can make whatever plan you want when we are on the ground.

  • Plan
This is an example of a program that may vary depending on the weather and/or the preferences of the crew members,

Day 1. Boarding day in the south of Tenerife.

Day 2. Sailing day from the south of Tenerife to La Gomera (30MN) We will sail through an area that is considered a Whale Sanctuary and where a great diversity of cetaceans live. We will arrive at the Port of San Sebastián de La Gomera, where we will spend the night.

Day 3. Day to explore the island. Excursion through the Garajonay National Park, the greatest exponent of the Canarian Laurisilva. The great natural treasure of La Gomera is its forests of trees similar to laurel, leafy and intensely green, which crown the steep center of the island. Laurel forest, abundant millions of years ago, is now found in very few places in the world. Excursion through the National Park. There are different routes with different levels.

Day 4. Sailing day from La Gomera to La Palma. 50 nautical miles of sailing in Atlantic conditions. Night in the Port of Santa Cruz de La Palma.

Day 5 and 6. These days we will dedicate ourselves to exploring the island of La Palma. One of the days we can take a route through the volcano area, to enjoy impressive volcanic landscapes and Canarian pine forests. The next day, we can explore some of the greenest areas of the island, on a trek that runs between water and Laurisilva forests.

Day 7. Sailing day from La Palma to the northwest of Tenerife (50 nautical miles). We will anchor in the impressive cliffs of Los Gigantes.

Day 8. We can spend the morning relaxing on board, enjoying the anchorage and the seabed while snorkeling. You can also take a walk through the Barranco de Masca, an impressive ravine with giant walls of lava.

Day 9. Navigation back to the port south of Tenerife.

Day 10. Disembarkation day in the morning, until 11:0h.

    * FOR THE 8 DAY BREAD, WE LEAVE TO LA GOMERA ON THE FIRST DAY, SO SHIPMENT WILL BE IN THE MORNING, AT 10:00 AM. DAY 8 IS THE DAY OF DISEMBARKATION, WE ARRIVED THE NIGHT BEFORE AT THE PORT.

It was a great experience sailing with Carlos y Aroa and I would would strongly reccomend sailing with them. I felt very welcome safe and comfortable throughout the holiday and nothing was too much trouble. When not sailing we enjoyed hiking and other events that we all enjoyed.
