Adventure offered by Jaime

Contact
2-week crossing from Castellón to Monaco, aboard a sailboat, covering 540 nm.

On this trip we will be able to visit places like Montpellier, Marseille, the Muscleras del Delta del Ebro, the Château d'If, Cannes and Nice. If you are interested in returning by plane, you have Nice Airport; you can also return by train or bus. There is a motorway from Monaco to Valencia. The other option will be to return by boat, for which you will have to choose the return trip on the Monaco-Castellón crossing.

It will be a voyage to explore the Northern Mediterranean, staying close to the shore, in order to reduce the impact of the Mistral. We will sleep each night in a different cove with dinner and entertainment on board (Karaoke, music, board games). The Captain will cook you things you have never tried before.

We are waiting for you!

  • Plan
Phenomenal cruise from Castellón to Monaco, visiting the best nooks and crannies north of Valencia, where we will anchor in the best coves with good shelter. We will always travel close to the coast to avoid the strong Mistral (NW) that blows in the area and thus, we will eliminate the Fetch (reducing the wave).

    Saturday:
We will check in at 08:00h and leave the Port of Castellón and head to the Ebro Delta, where we will visit the Muscleras.

    Sunday:
We will go to Salou, anchor on Poniente beach, go down to the town with the Dingui, have dinner and go to sleep.

Monday: We will head towards the mouth of the Llobregat River, next to Barcelona.

    Tuesday:
We will go to Sant Feliu de Guixols, here we will bathe before going to dinner.

    Wednesday:
We will cross the border with France, stop and anchor in Port Vendrés. There we will anchor in a huge cove that is more like an estuary, which will provide us with plenty of protection from the Mistral winds, which can be strong. If we have time, we will go down to the city.

    Thursday:
From Port Vendrés we will leave early in the morning to go to Montpellier, where we will stop to clean the boat and get supplies all Friday. Here we can visit the old town (Le Ecusson), visit the Cathedral, go shopping in the Halles Castellanes and see the Peyrou promenade.

    Friday:
We will spend the day in Montpellier to clean the boat and provision it for the following week.

    Saturday and Sunday:
We will set sail for Marseille, where we will spend the day, given the importance of the city. We will visit the Vieux Port, Le Panier in the old town, the Cathedral of La Major, the Fort Saint Jean, the Boulevard de Longchamp with its palace, the Basilica of Notre Dame de la Garde and, if we can, we will take the boat to the Château d'If to look for the Count of Monte Cristo.

    Monday:
In the morning, we will go to Saint Tropez, a good bay to spend the night and visit its majestic and enchanted port.

    Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday:
The following days we will make short trips, which will allow us to spend a good part of the time visiting the cities of: Cannes, we will visit the Croisette and the Forville Market; the next day to Nice, to see the Vielle Ville, the Promenade des Anglais, the Cathedral, etc. And finally, we will arrive on Thursday in Monaco, ending the trip.

    Friday:
Check-out at 8:00 a.m. to clean the boat and change the ripulation.

    GRADES:
The embarkation and disembarkation ports along the voyage have been considered in order to facilitate the passenger's return to the point of departure.
Weeks always start on Saturday and end on Friday.
It is essential to be punctual, as schedules are fixed.
The voyage includes certain moorings in marinas, which are included in the price. However, if for weather reasons it is not possible to spend the night in the planned anchorages and it is necessary to dock in port, passengers must cover the costs.

It has been an incredible and unforgettable experience. A lot of dedication to the preparation of an exquisite and very original meal, Jaime's patience when it comes to teaching us about sailing and his way of telling it is on another level. We had to share it with an excellent group of people and the Columbretes are beautiful.

Recommended!! Jaime a great Captain and Master. Journey thought out in detail with a very nice, comfortable and well-equipped sailboat. The food on board is another level. Las Columbret is an incredible place that disconnects you from the daily maelstrom. In addition, luck played on my side and I shared with a luxurious crew.

It was a spectacular weekend. Jaime is a great boss, he has a lot of knowledge that he enjoys sharing. The boat is in perfect condition and cooks like a great chef. In addition, his commitment to the plan is very generous so that nothing fails, he spares no effort to please his “sailors”. I'll give it a 10

Excellent falls short. An impressive weekend, Jaime is a captain of 10 and an honored host. Their explanations, disposition and attention are unbeatable. As a cook I'm going to say, we waited anxiously for mealtime to see what dish he would surprise us with. To repeat.
