We invite you to take part in a 7-day coastal voyage that will cover more than 350 nautical miles, from Barbate to Alicante, a voyage designed to learn, enjoy and connect with the nautical world in a practical and safe way, while getting to know this stretch of the Spanish coast, stopping at possible ports and/or anchorages.
Throughout this journey, you will have the opportunity to actively learn all the essential aspects of sailing. We will guide you as you live a unique experience at sea, taking with you the knowledge and learning necessary to make you feel safe on any voyage.
What can you expect from this experience?
Safe Journey Planning: We will teach you how to plan each stage of your journey, taking into account all the crucial factors to ensure a safe and efficient journey.
Boat inspection and weather assessment: You will learn how to check and maintain your sailboat, evaluating sea and weather conditions to decide the best routes.
Study of weather conditions: You will learn to interpret weather reports, understand winds, currents and other factors that influence navigation.
Learning essential tools: You will become familiar with basic navigation tools and equipment, both manual and electronic, to optimize your experience.
Sail Trim Optimization: You will understand how a sailboat works and how to adjust the sails to make the most of the wind and optimize the boat's speed and performance.
Night Navigation: You will discover the challenges and beauty of night navigation, learning to use the autopilot and coordinate night watches effectively.
Safety and emergency elements: You will learn the safety procedures on board, how to react to emergencies and the correct use of safety equipment.
Use of electronic equipment: You will become familiar with electronic navigation systems, such as GPS, radar and other equipment that will allow you to navigate accurately.
Port and Shelter Assessment: We will teach you how to assess the conditions of ports and shelters on the coast to make informed decisions about where to stop or seek shelter if necessary.
