Las prácticas de navegación son una parte fundamental de nuestra formación náutica. Nuestro objetivo, es preparar a los alumnos para enfrentarse a los desafíos de la mar, de manera segura y eficiente.

Estas prácticas se centran en tres áreas clave:

1. Preparación de la Derrota y Ejercicio de Abandono
2. Revisión de los Puntos Críticos de la Embarcación
3. Mantenimiento de una Guardia Efectiva de Navegación

    Preparación y Seguridad en la Navegación

    1. Preparación de la Derrota y Abandono
    Planificación de la Ruta:
    Comprobación de cartas náuticas y actualización de avisos a navegantes.
    Identificación de peligros y trazado de la derrota.
    Consulta de libros de faros y señales radio.
    Documentación a Bordo:
    Certificados, permisos y licencias necesarios.
    Previsiones meteorológicas y avisos de seguridad.
    Uso de la Balsa Salvavidas:
    Simulacro de abandono y precauciones.
    Mantenimiento y revisión de la balsa.
    Importancia de mantenerla seca y ventilada.

    2. Revisión de la Embarcación
    Combustible y Autonomía:
    Verificación del nivel de combustible.
    Carga de baterías y estado del motor.
    Provisiones y Seguridad:
    Agua y alimentos suficientes.
    Estado físico de la tripulación.
    Comprobación del material de seguridad.
    Procedimientos de Salida:
    Arranque de motores y comunicación al CCS.
    Largado de cabos y maniobra de salida.

    3. Mantenimiento de la Guardia
    Turnos de Vigilancia:
    Cumplimiento de los turnos de guardia.
    Entrega y recepción de la guardia.
    Navegación Efectiva:
    Control del rumbo y uso del piloto automático.
    Vigilancia AIS y reconocimiento de la costa.
    Seguimiento Meteorológico:
    Control de la presión atmosférica y dirección del viento.
    Prevención de efectos adversos por rachas de viento.
    Posiciones en la Carta:
    Referencias horarias y cambios de rumbo.
    Identificación de accidentes costeros y peligros.
    Estado Físico de la Tripulación:
    Cansancio, somnolencia y protección contra el frío y la insolación.
    Mantenerse hidratado.
    Uso de Tecnología Avanzada:
    GPS: Inicialización, creación de derrotas y corrección de errores.
    AIS: Identificación de buques, punto de encuentro y marcado de objetivo.
    Recalada y Seguridad:
    Reconocimiento de enfilaciones, luces y marcas.
    Determinación de la altura de marea y márgenes de seguridad

    Attentive crew and captain but not allowed to sail in the bow, something essential for me. A lot of smoke on board: 9 out of 10 people smoked, and the captain doesn't regulate it. We spent 2 days in San Antonio, a busy and charming area. It's not the ideal trip if you're looking for calm, boating, solitude and unforgettable sunsets
