Introductory sailing course in the Entrepeñas Reservoir

Learn to sail an hour from Madrid surrounded by natural landscapes in the Burguillo Reservoir.

A weekend learning to master sailing, away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

This course is aimed at adults who want to start out in the world of sailing. The student will assimilate the basic notions of sailing: rigging the boat, picking it up and sailing in all directions.

At the end of the course, the student must be prepared to sail in moderate wind under the supervision of an instructor. After this initiation course, the student will be prepared to take a second-level course whose objective is to navigate autonomously.

Course students can later enroll in the reservoir club, which will allow them to sail on the club's boats for an annual fee.

Plan

Saturday: (10:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.): The first day after a brief talk where the basic notions on boat directions and maneuvers are reviewed, we will learn to rig the boat and sail with the instructor on board.

Sunday: (10:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.): On the second day we will deepen the knowledge acquired on Saturday and perform maneuvers in which you will learn to navigate in all directions in such a way that you will end up navigating by yourself.

All crew members are welcome, even if they do not know the language spoken on board (spanish)

The course will be carried out as long as the weather conditions are not extreme.

Interesting option to know the wind and its whims. To be patient and know that the wind does not always take you where you want, but in the end you get there, both the monitors and the instructor very well, with a lot of patience.
