Perform in Valencia towards Ibiza, the practices of complementary attributions to expand your PER pattern certification in crossing: the Expansion to navigate between the Iberian Peninsula and the Balearic Islands and the sailing authorization that will allow you to patrol sailboats.

By completing these practices, you can therefore govern motor and / or sailing pleasure boats up to 24 meters in length and navigate between the Peninsula and the Balearic Islands.
The crossing will be done in a large oceanic boat of 16 meters and with a very attractive route, with 2 night cruises and the students will carry out navigation guards in pairs during the day and at night.

The official practices in our sailboat are not for a walk, nor a procedure, they are serious, enjoyable and instructive, where the program set for obtaining official certification is taught and in addition, many skills are acquired as a competent Skipper.

The practices take place on a 220-mile high crossing sailing from Valencia to Ibiza, Formentera, Costa de Alicante and back to Valencia, in a large 16-meter oceanic boat like ours, well equipped and welcoming.

Internships are taught by Carlos, Patron of pleasure craft, with many miles traveled, good trainer and passionate about his work.

This sailboat is not just any ship, it has a long and deserved reputation for its long ocean voyages and the experience and good work of Toni and Carlos, their 2 skipper.

Our sailboat has trained more than three thousand five hundred patrons. Practical training is a very important part of teaching and we offer quality practices to form competent patterns. In this nautical school the practices are not a mere procedure and we develop the official program of practices. The instructor will provide you with the best possible experience so that they are different, fun and very instructive practices.

  • Plan
Boarding on Friday at 6:00 p.m. in Valencia.
Disembarkation scheduled for Sunday at 6:00 p.m. in the same port.

We will develop the official program of the PER qualification Practices to sail to the Balearic Islands and Sailing qualification with a 48-hour journey in weekend practices.

We will sail about 220 miles through Ibiza, Formentera, Costa de Alicante and back to Valencia.
We will set sail from Valencia heading directly to Ibiza, where we will anchor in different places on its western coast. Later, we will resume navigation towards Formentera, crossing the Freus, which are steps that separate the islands of Ibiza and Formentera. We will anchor in the beautiful bay of the Island of Espalmador, which presents a difficult entrance.
We will continue the journey towards Cabo de la Nao. We will anchor in the bay of Jávea and from there we will head towards Valencia.

Each student on board will assume the Role of the skipper of the ship, and must think and try to solve all the problems and preparations that are presented to a Skipper in a high-altitude journey, with the supervision and indications of the Instructor.
You will review the critical points of the boat and the checklist before sailing. Calculation of fuel, water and food. He will prepare the route, checking very well in the directions and in the nautical charts the navigation area, the dangers, the anchorages and the sheltered ports. We will study the weather forecasts to choose the best route and the recommended anchorages.
We will see the safety material, the use of self-inflating vests, harnesses and life lines, and we will do a mock abandonment with the life raft.
We will make daytime and nightfall, identifying the dangers and choosing the best anchorage.

Boat details

This sailboat was designed in the Iñigo Echenique naval engineering cabinet. It is a comfortable and functional sailboat, built to sail in any sea and for its passengers to enjoy great comfort and safety in all its spaces.

FEATURES

Length: 16.1 meters.
Beam: 4.6 meters.
Capacity: 9/11 passengers (plus a skipper).
Displacement: 19 tons.
Engines: 2 turbo diesel engines of 110 HP each.
Bow thruster.
Electricity on board: 12 and 220 volts. We carry Solar Plates.
Vedic surface: 175 m (Major, Genoa and Trinqueta)
Water: 2,400 liters.
Diesel: 1,400 liters. As we are concerned about safety, the hull of our sailboat is made of steel, the material preferred by oceanic navigators for its maximum strength and safety.

When the most common in the entire fleet of rental boats is to carry an engine, we carry 2 engines, to increase safety when we sail. When the boat was designed, we took it very seriously that the boat was very safe and having 2 propellers gave it great safety. When there is no wind the boat only sails with one engine but has the other one in case it needs more power and having 2 engines prevents the boat from being stopped due to a breakdown.

It is also common in rental boats that have very low capacity water and diesel fuel tanks. In the sailboat we seek maximum comfort for the crew, so our autonomy of water and diesel is more than double that of the sailboats of this length.
