We will carry out the regulatory practices to obtain the Yacht Master with the Sun Odissey 43 of our School approved by the Department of the Valencian Community, with base port in Marina Miramar de Santa Pola.

Current regulations establish that in order to govern a vessel you must carry out navigation practices and provide a certificate from an approved school having completed the navigation practices stipulated by law.

These practices are mandatory to be able to govern a boat, the current legislation establishes that they must have a duration of 48 hours. They will be held by the bay of Santa Pola, Isla de Tabarca, Isla Grosa and Isla de Benidorm. The official program published by the General Directorate of the Merchant Marine is followed.

The different mandatory points will be made for the practices of this degree.

1.-NIGHT NAVIGATION. Recognition of lights, lighthouses and beacons. Identification of lights of other ships. Approach directions depending on orientation. Landfall
2.-NAVIGATION WITH RADAR
Situation due to delay. Dialing and distance to other ships. Recognition of the coast. Disturbances
3.-ABANDONMENT OF THE BOAT
Use of the life raft: stowage, zafa, launch, inflation, grinding and boarding. Use of indoor equipment. Survival in the sea Behavior of the shipwrecked in the water. Organization of life on a raft: surveillance, guards, rationing, cape anchor. Nearest coast. Knowledge and management of the life jacket. Knowledge and management of the life raft and its equipment.
4.-ORGANIZATION OF THE DEFEAT
Handling of letters, paths, books of lighthouses, tide yearbooks and nomenclator of maritime radio stations. Tracing a defeat Calculation of fuel, water and food. Checklists
5.-COASTAL AND ESTIMATE NAVIGATION
Study of the nautical chart. Hazard identification. Situation for delays and routings. Rumbos Estimate Navigation
6.-MAN'S WATER OPERATION
Ways to avoid water man. The first when a man falls into the water. The maneuver. Search and collection.
7.-GPS NAVIGATION
Initialization to electronic navigation. Situation. Enter a defeat and a landfall point. Errors and corrections.
8.-NAVIGATION WITHOUT VISIBILITY WITH RADAR AND GPS
Precautions Fog navigation.
9.-NAVIGATION WITH BAD TIME
Additional precautions Weather tracking. Preparation of the maneuver and intention. Choice of the safest defeat.
