The day of departure and arrival may vary due to organizational or meteorological issues!
First day:
At 06:00am we will set sail from Porta Delgada and make a 150nm voyage
Second day to seventh day:
Ocean sailing, sailing, for the day we will cook, taking turns doing the different ones.
meals, surveillance work from the command post, fishing, stargazing at night, we can listen to music, read a book or share experiences with the crew.
Seventh day and eighth day:
Once in Spanish waters, the province of Huelva and Cádiz, we will see Tarifa, Bologna, Zahara de los Atunes, Barbate, Cape Trafalgar, El Palmar, Gibraltar (where we will stop at the gas station to refuel) and stop at Alcaidesa Marina, already in the bay of Algeciras.
During the voyage, guards will be carried out for 4 hours a day, consisting of being in control of the ship and observing possible strange elements or changes in the weather, force or direction of the wind. Prior training will be carried out to know how to act in the face of changes, in addition to the need to notify the captain to make appropriate decisions. In general, these guards will be during the day, since the captain will work the night hours since they require greater concentration. It will also be necessary to collaborate in the kitchen and in shifts; each one will have to cook and clean the kitchen alternately.
During the rest hours we can dedicate ourselves to different activities: fishing (equipment is included, you can bring baits such as plastic squid, or buy baits on board), reading, recording videos, board games (chess, backgammon, cards or dice), watching movies or series (we have a Samsung Smart TV, we recommend bringing a hard drive to connect it, you can also connect smartphones, better Android) listening to music (we have Hi-Fi Bluetooth equipment where we can connect our mobile phones), do physical exercise or yoga.
