First day:
At 06:00h we will set sail from the Bay of Algeciras and will sail 170nm

At 10:00 a.m. we will drop anchor at Benagil Cave. We will go down to the cave with the dinghy and have a very refreshing swim. Then we will dock at Portimao Marina. Third and fourth days:
At 09.00h we will set sail from Portimao Marina towards Sagres, sailing along the coast of Avor and Lagos. We will begin an Atlantic crossing of approximately 82 hours, we will set sail and let ourselves be carried by the trade winds towards Madeira. We will enjoy moments of fishing and, with luck, whale watching on their way to the islands of Macaronesia.
Fifth day:
At 18:00 we will arrive at the port of Funchal, where we will spend the night. We can go ashore and enjoy a delicious dinner in the local restaurants of the port.
Sixth day:
At 10:00 a.m. we will take a zodiac excursion to the Deserted Islands where, with luck, we will spot cetaceans such as whales or dolphins. We can go down to the island and walk along its coasts, as well as spot the native seabirds of the area. Afterwards, we will return to the port of Funchal and we can spend the afternoon visiting the city or going up in its cable car to enjoy wonderful panoramic views.
Seventh day:
At 10:00 a.m. we will conclude our Macaronesia adventure on board the catamaran. After that, you can enjoy a few more days of vacation on land, which is the best way to take advantage of and explore the entire island of Madeira: tropical corners, colorful markets, hidden villages and many more adventures to enjoy. You can also choose to continue with us on the next voyage, visiting more islands of Macaronesia and heading to Lanzarote.
During the voyage, 4-hour watches will be carried out daily, consisting of being in charge of the boat and observing possible strange elements or changes in the weather, strength or direction of the wind. Prior training will be given to know how to act in the event of changes, as well as the need to notify the captain in order to make the relevant decisions. Generally, these watches will be during the day, since the captain will work at night since these require greater concentration. It will also be necessary to collaborate in the kitchen and in shifts; each person will have to cook and take care of cleaning the kitchen alternately.
During our rest hours we can do different activities: fishing (equipment is included, you can bring bait such as plastic squid, or buy bait on board), reading, recording videos, playing board games (chess, backgammon, cards or dice), watching movies or series (we have a Samsung Smart TV, we recommend bringing a hard drive to connect it, smartphones can also be connected, preferably Android) listening to music (we have a Bluetooth Hi-Fi system where we can connect our mobile phones), doing physical exercise or yoga.
