We report the typical itinerary of a weekly cruise to the Aeolian Islands, specifying that during the Cruise the daily program will in any case be discussed with the skipper and possibly redefined according to the wishes of the guests and the actual weather conditions.
DAY 1:
From Capo d'Orlando to Vulcano
We embark in Capo D'Orlando from 2:00 pm on Saturday, even earlier if the boat was ready. After doing some shopping and fuel we will leave for the islands, in order to make the most of the available time and reach the island of Vulcano by sunset, following a nice three and a half hour sailing. We will thus spend the first night in the harbor, in the wild and evocative panorama of the Cannitello bay, south-east of the island.
DAY 2:
East coast of Vulcano and Lipari, Cala Pomice, Panarea
After breakfast and a nice swim, we can move to Lipari, along the eastern side of Vulcano and Lipari itself, and anchor in the crystal clear waters of the famous Cala Pomice, for the second swim of the day and lunch break. Later, we will continue towards Panarea where we will anchor for a magical night in the bay in the south of the island, in Cala Zimmari. With the tender it will be possible to go ashore to visit the adjacent Cala Yunco, a place of archaeological interest, and for an evening walk to the village.
DAY 3:
From Panarea to Stromboli, passing through Lisca Bianca
On Monday morning, calmly, we will set sail for Stromboli; we will have the opportunity to pass by the islets of Basiluzzo or Lisca Bianca for a characteristic bath break among the thousands of bubbles of the submerged sulfataras and to eat a bite. In the early afternoon we will set off again on the Stromboli route, where we will spend the night, not far from the village. If you want you could go and eat at the observatory from where you can admire a unique spectacle in the world, the sciara of fire under a starry sky, by candlelight. It will be exciting and full of energy.
DAY 4:
Transfer to Salina: the bays of Pollara and Santa Marina
Tuesday, after breakfast, from Stromboli we will head towards Salina to anchor in the context of the famous "Postman's Bay" and spend the central hours of the day between one swim and another. In the afternoon we will move to the harbor in front of the marina, so that we can comfortably go ashore with the tender (if you want you can also go to the port) and visit the characteristic village of Santa Marina di Salina.
DAY 5:
Filicudi: the rock "La Canna" and the sunset of Capo Graziano
Wednesday, we will be able to sail towards Filicudi, take a bath in the surroundings of the characteristic "Scoglio la Canna" and move for the night near Capo Graziano, the south-eastern end of the island, famous for one of the most suggestive sunsets in the archipelago.
DAY 6:
West coast of Lipari; Vulcano and the serenity of cala Ponente
Thursday we will sail towards Vulcano, first passing through the beautiful bays that characterize the western side of Lipari. Just behind Lipari, we will sail along the coast in order to appreciate its splendor and make the appropriate bathroom stops, being able to choose between the pristine beauty of Vallemuria, the colors of the waters of the Formiche, or the suggestive grandeur of the Faraglioni. Before sunset we will thus arrive in Vulcano, where we will be able to visit the village and spend the night in the context of the magical serenity of Cala Ponente. Even here a spectacular sunset, we are facing west.
DAY 7:
Towards the return. The western side of Vulcano
On Friday we will begin to return to Capo D'Orlando, skirting the western side of Vulcano in order to complete the exploration of the island. We will be able to take a bath in the crystal clear waters of the Piscine di Venere and stop for lunch in front of the famous Black Sands beach, south of the island. In the early afternoon we will resume navigation towards Capo D'Orlando, where we will arrive by evening to spend the last night, before saying goodbye until the next opportunity ... We are waiting for you!
