We will start the journey from Road Town, Tortola, British Virgin Islands. The first journey will take place across the Caribbean Sea to Saint Martin, where we will carry out the supplies and will also be an access point to the crossing, due to its better air connection with Europe and the USA. We made the Atlantic crossing from Saint Martin to the rich lands of Cádiz. During the journey, a stopover in Bermuda and a safe stopover in the Azores will be valued.

This entire epic voyage will be carried out on our Lagoon 43 catamaran, which offers all the amenities for a trip of this nature.

We will depart from the Caribbean and sail across the Atlantic to the Azores Islands, an archipelago of Portuguese islands, which is a traditional place of passage for sailors on transatlantic voyages. From there, and if the weather is favorable, we will head to the crossing of the Strait, to pause and enjoy some good tapas in the lands of Cádiz. There we will end our adventure, unless we later agree to head to the Pitiusas.

This will be our 8th crossing of the Atlantic. In this adventure, we will enjoy magnificent fishing, whale watching, and cross winds, making up an epic journey.

The day of departure and arrival may vary due to organizational issues!

You can book the trip with the port and stopover options indicated in the description of the trip, so there are 4 options to join the adventure: BVI, Saint Martin, Bermuda and Azores. Our final destination is Cádiz, although we can consider taking an extra stage to the magical waters of the Pitiusas, specifically Ibiza.

In the daily program during the crossing, there will be mandatory 4-hour guards. It consists of being in control of the ship and observing strange elements or changes in the weather, force or direction of the wind. Prior training will be done to know how to act in the face of any change or the need to notify the captain to make decisions about the changes or inclemencies that may be encountered. Usually, they will be during the day, since the captain will work the night hours, where greater concentration is required. We will also collaborate in the kitchen and in shifts. Each one will have to cook and clean the kitchen alternately.

During the rest hours we will dedicate ourselves to fishing. Fishing equipment is included, but not baits. Everyone can bring their own baits (the most suitable and most successful catches are usually plastic squids, with different sizes or colors). We have baits on board, which you can purchase for your use.

Other good activities on board are reading or recording videos, either for your social networks or simply as a keepsake. We also have a Samsung Smart TV to be able to watch movies or series. We recommend bringing a hard drive to connect to the TV or connect the smartphone (Android works better than iOS in this regard). We have a HiFi Bluetooth device, where you can connect your mobile phones to enjoy good music on the trip. Exercise or yoga are also good activities on board.

Other information
All crew members are welcome, even if they do not know the language spoken on board (spanish)

The ship has the necessary communication equipment for the transatlantic crossing: satellite telephone, NAVTEX, AIS, etc.

We also have a Starlink Satellite antenna. All crew members who want to use this antenna that allows them to be connected at all times via WhatsApp, email and social networks, and even Netflix, will have to pay for the GB used during the journey at the end of the trip, leaving a deposit deposit for the collection of this service.

The dates shown are indicative, since we depend on the weather for navigation.

The price is for a shared cabin with private bathroom, for couples. If you book a double cabin, 500€ will be discounted.

The ship will be supplied before it sails and the expenses of the food will be shared equally, as well as the fuel.

The published price is to Cádiz, depending on the trip you can stipulate an extra to Ibiza or finish the trip in Cádiz.

Adventurer and sailor with more than 30 years of experience at sea, I started as the owner of an 80-foot ketch-type schooner made entirely of wood, and after many years with classic boats, I changed rigs to sailboats and catamarans. I am passionate about sailing, fishing and diving.

Boat details

Welcome everyone to the announcement of a fabulous Lagoon 43 catamaran.

The Lagoon 43 represents the promise of unforgettable moments at sea because it is a catamaran adaptable to all desires. As a couple, with family or with friends, this catamaran will seduce you. It was designed and created to be versatile, by nature!

The boat is a luxury and at the same time contemporary catamaran that has cabinetry finishes and great comfort in all its cabins.

Lagoon has created a new vision of life on board, presenting a versatile ship with adaptable limits. This advance makes it possible to transform the space by relating the interior to the exterior according to your wishes, between the living room and the bathtub.

The operation is simple and quick to create numerous layouts, allowing for up to 12 people

around the table. A new space for meeting and exchange has been invented, to share with family or friends

The catamaran is equipped for ocean navigation since it crosses the Atlantic from Ibiza to Martinique and... with its final destination the Virgin Islands (BVI).

It is a sustainable ECO catamaran, equipped with solar panels to minimize diesel consumption.

On
board you will find ample comfort, especially provided by catamarans due to their spaciousness and good design.

The boat has large refrigerators, and an ice machine to keep all your drinks very cold. You will also find an outdoor barbecue where you can cook good fish or good meat.

Our goal is for them to enjoy an unforgettable and eco-sustainable vacation, for which we recommend the maximum use of sailing possible.

We will visit the most wonderful places, the most crystalline coves and enjoy magnificent sunrises and sunsets on board.

More than half of the trip was by motor. He has two skippers for the trip, we were two travelers for expenses. Travel expenses to be added, as stated in the publication, fuel costs; it was 500 euros each; cleaning 150 each; STARLINK, 150 each; and food 600 each. The fantastic patterns. Very comfortable
