A route designed for your learning:
we know that the route is key in Yacht Skipper practices. That's why we have designed a 220-mile high altitude journey that will allow you to put your knowledge into practice and develop your skills as a skipper. We will develop the official program on a 48-hour and 220-mile journey, sailing along the west coast of Ibiza, Cabo de la Nao and back to Valencia
We will sail from Valencia directly to Ibiza to anchor at dawn, on the western coast, near the island of Es Vedra. Later we will resume sailing along the west coast of Ibiza, recognizing its coastline, anchorages and complicated passages. We will anchor near Conejera Island, in San Antonio Bay. In the afternoon we will continue our journey to Cabo de la Nao. We will anchor in the middle of the night in the bay of Jávea and at dawn we will bow back to Valencia, to arrive in the afternoon.
More than a procedure, a learning experience: in the on-board internship, you will not only meet the requirement to obtain your Yacht Master's degree, but also:
- You will acquire essential skills to be a competent employer.
- You'll enjoy an attractive route.
- A route designed for your learning.

Quality training for future employers. On the sailboat, we take your training as a Yacht Skipper seriously. Our practices, based on the official program, will provide you with the knowledge and experience necessary to navigate safely and solvency.
Take command of the sailboat: During the internship, each student will have the opportunity to take the helm and experience first-hand the role of a Yacht Master. Under the supervision of Toni, an instructor with extensive experience, you will face the challenges and responsibilities of a high-altitude journey, learning to make decisions and solve real sailing situations.
Preparing for the voyage: Before setting sail, you will actively participate in preparing the sailboat, reviewing the critical points of the boat, verifying the safety equipment and calculating the needs for fuel, water and supplies.
Route planning: You will learn to plan voyages, studying nautical charts and routes, identifying possible hazards, anchorages and shelters in the navigation area. In addition, we will analyze the weather forecasts to choose the best route and the safest anchorages.
Safety on board: You'll get to know the sailboat's safety equipment thoroughly, including self-inflating vests, harnesses and life lines. We will carry out a simulation of abandonment with the life raft so that you are prepared for any emergency.
Maneuvering and navigation: You will practice maneuvers, both day and night, in different conditions and places. You will learn to identify navigational hazards and to choose the best anchorage in each situation.
This 53-foot (16-meter long) oceanic sailboat is much more than a ship. His reputation in the Spanish nautical scene precedes him, thanks to his ocean voyages, the quality of his practices and the experience of his skippers, Toni and Carlos.
