Basic Training Course in Maritime Safety in Barcelona

The teachers are good, especially the nurse. The practices were good, although the material was destroyed and many things were too broken to use.
In the classroom, we only received the manual in PDF, we asked for paper but they were not given. In the middle of summer the air conditioning did not work well, and there was a lack of air in the classroom.

Pronautic is a nautical company specializing in professional and recreational maritime training, based in Barcelona and with extensive experience in the sector. Through its accredited nautical school, it offers courses and practical training for obtaining recreational and professional nautical qualifications, adapted to current regulations. In addition, Pronautic complements its training activities with services and solutions aimed at sailors and maritime professionals, establishing itself as a leading provider of nautical training in Barcelona and along the Mediterranean coast.
Courses offered by Pronautic on Sailwiz:

- Basic Safety Training: STCW certification in survival, prevention and firefighting at sea.

- General Operator of the GMDSS (GMDSS): training for emergency communications and safety on ships.

- Survival Craft and Rescue Boats: training for boat handling and maritime survival.

- Advanced Firefighting: intensive training in advanced firefighting techniques on board.

- Passenger Ships: certification to work in operations and safety on passenger ships.

- Advanced Specific Health Training: medical knowledge for emergencies and urgent situations at sea.

- Restricted GMDSS Operator: to be qualified personnel for emergency, urgency, safety and routine communications on ships sailing in area A1.
