the new Offshore Skipper course is dedicated to those who wish to acquire autonomy in the management of sailing and motor boats.
The course is designed to provide practical and theoretical skills in coastal navigation, crew management, and route planning. Aboard our boats, students will enjoy a comprehensive experience, guided by highly qualified instructors with extensive seafaring experience.
An important aspect concerns the preparatory value of the Offshore Skipper course: students will be able to obtain certification for the 5 hours of practice required by law for obtaining the Italian Type A sailing/motor nautical license.
The Offshore Skipper course follows the RYA (Royal Yachting Association) curriculum for the first five days, which awards the most representative qualifications in international sailing. Thanks to the use of an RYA-certified vessel from the Top Sail Italy Training Centre, upon completion of the course, students will receive the Day Skipper title as well as the SRC certificate for the use of short-range radio devices. This course is designed for those who want to take their nautical training to the next level, combining technical preparation with the pleasure of sailing in northwest Sardinia, with the opportunity to subsequently earn a recreational craft command license. Over the next two days, students will practice maneuvers in port and at anchor aboard a Lagoon 50 catamaran.
