Dayskipper certificates are internationally known for their high standard and are usually completed concurrently.
The Component Crew program allows you to become an integral part of a crew, learning the basics and principles of boat operation, from sails to engine, from maneuvers to anchoring. The "Day Skipper" certificate has become the most accredited international nautical license. The qualification can be used for commercial purposes when combined with the STCW courses and a medical certificate. The course aims to develop and define the skills needed to navigate independently and safely, up to 20 miles from a safe port, assuming responsibility for the vessel and crew.
