Nautical recreational schools offer training for the following nautical licenses and qualifications.
- Navigation License
): Enables to govern small pleasure boats, with a maximum length of 6 meters, only during the day and a maximum distance of 2 miles from the coast. It is also valid for handling motorbikes with a maximum power of 55 hp.
- Basic Navigation Pattern ( PBN
): Enables to govern vessels up to 8 meters in the navigation zone between the coast and the parallel line drawn at 5 miles. It allows day and night navigation.
- Recreational Boats Pattern ( PER
): Enables to govern boats of up to 15 meters in length and a maximum distance of the coast of 12 miles or to navigate between islands of the Balearic and Canary Islands, both day and night.
- Yacht Skipper
(PY): It allows to govern boats up to 24 meters in length, with a limit of 150 miles parallel to the coast. Navigation may be day and night. To obtain the Yacht Skipper course you must be in possession of the title of Recreational Vessel Skipper.
- Captain of the Yacht
(CY): It allows to govern boats of up to 24 meters in length and sail without limit of distance to the coast.
To obtain the aforementioned titles Sailwiz offers several types of courses, in order to adapt to the needs of users: face-to-face courses in the morning, afternoon / evening, intensive weekend or home-based classes. There are also online courses, with access to virtual schools.
